Class Action Settlement Website.

The purpose of this website is to inform people who purchased, in the United States, a new Fujitsu-branded Mobile hard disk drive (“HDD”) initially sold in the United States by Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc. (“FCPA”) for their own use and not for resale, from December 28, 2002 through April 11, 2008, of a class action settlement that may affect your rights.  The settlement will provide for a discount on the purchase of any new Fujitsu-branded Mobile HDD.

The Action was filed by an individual who alleges that FCPA made misrepresentations and/or omissions in the packaging, advertising, and/or sale of Fujitsu-branded and Fujitsu-packaged HDDs with respect to the HDDs’ capacity for data storage.

FCPA denies that it has committed any violations of law or engaged in any of the wrongful acts alleged in the complaint filed in the Action, or otherwise.  In order to resolve the Action, and forever resolve these claims, however, FCPA has agreed to the settlement.
